Santiago Bernabéu Stadium (Real Madrid)

The Santiago Bernabéu Stadium is the home of Real Madrid Football Club, one of the greatest football teams in the history of world football. The stadium opened in 1947. The stadium has a 78,297 seat capacity.

Getting there: The best way to get to the Santiago Bernabéu stadium is by metro from the City Centre of Madrid. The stop is the Santiago Bernabéu and is on the blue line number 8. It is likley if staying in Madrid centro that you will be staying on Line R. You will need to chnage once to get to blue line 8. The metro runs from 06:00-01:30 each day.  You can find a metro map here

Taking a Stadium Tour - The Santiago Bernabéu stadium is currently going through some refurbishment but tours are still available (January 2025). You can book your tour tickets here on the Real Madrid website. Tour costs start from £29 for adults.

Match Tickets - It is notoriously difficult to obtain tickets to watch Real madrid. However for tourists there are options if you are willing to pay a premium price to watch Mbappe and Vini Junior. We would suggest using a website such as Viagogo if you wanted to buy hassle free tickets. See what is available here. You will be looking for around £100 per ticket to a standard Primera game. Other websites do have tickets but you are looking at prices of £115+

The last time we watched Real Madrid was against Real Zaragoza. They got beat 3-4 in an incredible atmosphere under the watchful eye of Jose Mourinho.
