One of the very few stadiums in the world to host 2 huge rival teams. Both Inter Milan and AC Milan host their games at the San Siro on alternate weeks of the season. It is a breath-taking stadium with a very unique atmosphere!
Getting there: Assuming you are staying in the centre of Milan, there are a couple of ways to get to the San Siro for a very cheap cost. You need to get to the subway depending on where you are staying. If starting by tram take the line 10 tram until you get to the subway for £3. The subway is then line 5 to the Stadio San Siro and will cost you approximately £2. It will take 39 minutes.
Alternatively you can take a taxi from Milan central to the san Siro. This will cost you approx £16 one way.
Taking a Stadium Tour - What's great about this tour is you are seeing a stadium but also the history of two huge teams in AC Milan and Inter Milan. You can book tour directly with the San Siro website here. The tour is open every day from 09:30 to 17:00. The cost of a tour for an adult is £29 and for concessions its £21
Match Tickets - Surprisingly it's relatively straightforward to obtain tickets at the San Siro. You can book them here for AC Milan and here for Inter Milan. For AC Milan they range from a very cheap £9 in the upper tiers to £40. For Inter Milan they are a bit more expensive but still reasonable. From £20 for the upper tiers.
