Camp Nou is the home of Barcelona Football Club, one of the greatest football teams in the world with a rich history. The stadium opened in 1957. It is currently undergoing renovation to make it an incredible 105,000 seat capacity.
Getting there: If you are staying in the centre of Barcelona you want to take the Metro from a central tourist area like Placa Catalunya to Camp Nou. Take the green line then get off at Barcelona Sants. Then change to the blue line and get off at Collblanc. The journey time is around 35 minutes and the cost is approx £2.10. Staying in Costa Brava - If you are holidaying in Costa Brava you can get to the Camp Nou via a trip or via bus number 54. The bus journey takes approx 2hr 44 mins and costs between £14-22.
Taking a Stadium Tour - The Camp Nou is currently going through some refurbishment but tours are still available (January 2025). You can book your tour tickets here on the Barca website. Tour costs start from £23 for adults.
Match Tickets - Barcelona are currently playing at the Olympic stadium and you can buy tickets directly from the club here. Ticket prices start from £37 and are often available for both the Spanish Primera games and UEFA Champions League games. However they sell out fast for the El Clasico derby with Real Madrid and the games against Atletico Madrid. They will also sell our fast for the latter stages of Champions League games.
We haven't been to the Camp Nou since the mid 2000s with Ronaldinho and Deco but the atmosphere was truly amazing and we are sure it still is. We are itching to get back to watch the new Barca team!
