Old Trafford (Manchester United F.C)

The 'Theatre of Dreams'. Our home football club where we have had season tickets since 1998. Old Trafford was built in 1910 and is based in the Trafford area of Greater Manchester.  Manchester are the most successful club in English football. 

Getting there: By Public Transport. From Manchester City Centre,  Take the Metrolink Tram to the Old Trafford tram stop, which is a 4 minute walk to the stadium. The cost of this tram is £2 per journey. Trams are fairly quiet apart from peak times of 07:30-09:30 and 16:00-18:00. If you are taking the tram after a football match do expect delays and a very busy tram. But they are frequent. This journey will take you approximately 10 minutes and the trams run every 12 minutes.  

By Car - SatNav Postcode: M17 1FP. Parking is based is car park E2 on non matchdays. For matchdays we recommend parking at the Lowry Car Park across the river in Salford with a SatNav postcode of M50 3AH. Cost around £10 for 4 hours. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes from the car park to the stadium (which you see in the distance all the way). 

Taking a Stadium Tour - Manchester United offer one of the best football stadium tours and museums in world football. The tours are well signposted and Manchester United offer various packages starting from £28 for adults and £15 for under 16s. the club also offer private tours and tours with former club legend players. The club also have a very large gift shop at the end of the tour and museum.  Tour times are 10:00 to 16:30 and can be booked directly with Manchester United Football Club via this link 

Match Tickets It is not easy to obtain tickets to watch Manchester United but there are ways to buy them. To Buy Premier League, Champions League, Europa League, F.A Cup and League Cup games you need to become a Manchester United member. However some games do go on general sale between £39-£66 for adults and £25-£66 for under 16s. You can buy match tickets directly with the club here.
